Once you arrive at Venice House Building, please look for the side entrance that says "Artist Studio Company " and ring the bell that says " the Slightly Curious studio / samapda gurung " . The studio is on the 2nd floor so please wait few minutes before someone…

Is there parking?

Yes there is Free weekend / non event days on-street parking in Carlyon Road ( few mins walk from studio) . There is also free at loon Fung Chinese supermarket or free 2 hour parking at Alperton Sainsbury's and extend the parking and pay via Horizon ( Location ID 50050 ) or Just park.

Cancellation or Reschedule?

Yes, this can be done via the booking Platform. 7 days notice is required to change your booking. For any emergency circumstances please contact us!

Can I take my work home on the day?

Unfortunately No . Due to the nature of the process the clay has to go through various firing stages before it turns into ceramic pieces. But there is an option at the end of the session to have your work Glazed fired and collect the finished glazed ceramic.

How do I collect my work ?

All work is collected from the studio . When it is ready, you will receive a email with a link to arrange a collection date and time. The work will be held for one month and then dispose of. Alternative arrangements can be made, just contact us info@theslightlycurious.studio

Do I need to have any experience?

No experience needed. All levels welcomed. The workshop is suitable for anyone who is interested in learning pottery. Anyone under the age of 10 please contact us.

Private Group Booking?

Yes this can be arranged , just get in touch to make arrangement but Must be size of 6-8 minimum for a private group booking

fantastic workshop! we loved it

Had an incredible time at the pottery workshop with Sampada. Booked for myself and two friends and we all had no experience using a pottery wheel before and were all nervous, but came out of it really wanting to try more and with more confidence after Sampada’s careful and detailed instruction. She was very attentive to all the students for both the wheel and hand-building portions of the session and taught key techniques in a way that was easy for us to follow. Sampada’s studio is really beautiful and cosy, and the time you get for the price is really good compared to other workshops in the area. Highly recommend and will definitely be back :)
